There's a detailed review of the bendy Coraline dolls
here. As you can see, the paint on the nose rubs right off.
In other Coraline news, here's a
handy side-by-side comparison of how Coraline stacks up against Pink Panther 2. Thanks for the tip Michael.

Buy Coraline keys at eBay.
This is undeniably odd and disappointing, but I've had my Coraline doll for about a week or two and I've been relatively brutal on her. She spends most of her travel time in her box and her nose is still in tact. And I pose her everywhere I can, she's even fallen on her face a few times as the result of being too top heavy. I mean, as an action figure lover, I am also relatively careful with her, but Im wondering what the hell is happening to these dolls with the horrible faces. But I bought mine in person and when I was going to order one from a seller they were very nice about the possibility of placing a protective layer on her face/head to prevent this happening.
ReplyDeleteThe only problem I've had with the doll is the limited range of motion and the fact that she cannot sit down.
Where did you buy your Coraline doll? I've looked all over at different stores, but no one has them. I'm afraid of ordering online for this very reason.
ReplyDeleteYou're best bet is probably just to call the toy stores in your area. I believe Toys R Us is supposed to have them.
ReplyDeletei know this has nothing to do wit those toys but i am glad to have found a place where people are concerned enough to post about an awesome movie. did yall hear about those crazy shoes?
ReplyDeleteI want that were do u get it
ReplyDeleteMy doll, the sad one, I guess her nose paint is coming off. The others I don't really use, sad fact. I hate the feet and hands though, popping off feet and hands? That's creepy!
ReplyDeleteP.S: I'm on my friend's acouct, she lets me on.
why are they so many different face coraline dolls. amazon(single happy entertainment earth(different expressions ). i seen others? any one seen this?
ReplyDeleteMy Coraline doll also has the tip of the nose rubbed off. The first one I bought the hands snapped right off so I took it back.
ReplyDeletewere did u get ur coraline doll cause my little girl really wants one i cant get one anywere?
ReplyDeletei saw on the news last night that someone was making fakes and selling them to stores and that you can tell its a fake if the paint on the tips of the doll peel off or if it can't bend well.
ReplyDeleteI really want one to but the expressions clothes and actions are all diff so i dont really know which one to buy.Which one is the best?
ReplyDeletei bought this doll and sent it back because of her moody face and the quality wasn't vey good, the nose was rubbed of on mine too and her nails are not painted blue
ReplyDeleteI saw that movie and it was awesome !!!!!
ReplyDeleteThumbs up if yes
