Watch as the Coraline puppets are digitally enhanced

I'm going to quote Neil Gaiman here: "See the lines on her face? That's where you can replace eyes, mouths and so on. At the beginning of the film-making process Henry wanted to keep the lines, but was outvoted, so they were digitally erased."

Adam Sager was one of the artists responsible for removing the lines from the puppets' face and performing other digital tricks. You can see before and after footage here.

What's also awfully nice to hear, is Adam's kind words for Laika, who provided crew with footage for their personal use, a pair of Coraline Dunks, and a puppet.
