For the past three or four years Jen Gomez has been entering the Alameda County Fair place setting competition. It's becoming a yearly tradition for her, her mother, her friend Sharon and I to make the trek to Pleasanton to view view the judging results, eat deep-fried foods and take in the glory which is a county fair.More photos in this gallery.
