Character Design interviewed Damon Bard, who sculpted several maquettes for Coraline. Here's something I didn't know: "The original clay sculptures are destroyed in the mold process but the casts of the maquettes are either stored, on display at the studio, or go on tour."

anybody know who did the show posters in the movie for miss spink and miss forcible? i loved the art style and would love to track down the artist.
ReplyDeleteGraham Annable did the original concept in his soryboard work on Coraline. Then Andy Schuhler (production illustrator) did the final. google them both, they are great artists.
