Another Coraline key found in Chicago



Either Chicagoans are unusually net savvy, or Chicago is currently ground zero in the Coraline key campaign. Ian Sklarsky happened to find a Coraline key on the ground near a trashcan on Melrose and Broadway in Chicago.

The keys are metal, by the way.

    I found one today in Union Square in New York City. There were four posters and it looked like two keys were already taken (or there were none there at all) and I grabbed one, so there should have been one left!

    I found two keys Velcroed to a poster on Diversey near the El station.

    I found one sticking out of a hole in the wall, and another shortly after, hidden behind a drain pipe in San Fransisco, CA. It was very exciting.

    im 15 an i would kill to get my hands on one of the coraline keys i absouloutly loved the movie, but unfourtunaly i live in a town in RI and dont get out much is there any way to get one or if any one has extras could i have on :) hehe??! Please Contact me at tagman8272@gmail.com !! haha

    i would like to get my hands on one of these keys...
    i live in NC and i would love to get one..
    so if anyone has any idea on how to get one of these that would be great
    i cant buy any because my parents think its a waste of money =_=

    My wife and I found ours after ice skating in Bryant Park it was on a newspaper dispenser. There were two.

    I'm 12 and Coraline was, by a landslide, the greatest book and movie and I would do anything for one of those keys.

    I found one in Chicago early Jan on a lamp just down from the redline. I had no idea what it was for but I collect keys and was just happy to have it. Its so awesome that it was an advertisement for Coraline!!!

    I bought a key off of ebay. I'm staring at it right now on my desk XD It's kinda cool. I'm not sure if it was REALLY worth the money, but it's an interesting keepsake.

    Hey my name is Lukas. I didn't know anything about this movie. I found of of the keys in december on broadway near melrose in chicago. It was just lying on the ground. I kept it for months as a good luck charm. The other day I showed it to a friend of mine and he told me that it is from the movie Coraline. He never told me that there were more keys that other people were finding. I didn't know anything about this movie nor did I even hear about it in December when I found one. I liked the key and thought it was cool before. But now I like it more.

    anyways... my daughter really wants to be Coraline for Halloween, and I cant find one of these keys anywhere :( Any chance someone would be interested in just loaning theirs to a very optimistic 9 year old who thinks her mother can find anything on the internet?
